When you consider our forefathers drank water from the well, or from a stream, it makes you wonder what all the fuss is about. But the truth is that our drinking water today might be clean, but is it fit to drink? Now there’s a question!

Water from the tap is full of chemicals. Some days the chlorine is so strong from mine that anything I drink made using it tastes so disgusting it is hard to swallow. Clean pure water is a wonder drink. It is God-given and it nourishes our bodies and flushes them too. But what happens when we ingest the chemicals used to treat the water, day after day? The amounts might be tiny, but what is their cumulative effect?

To get around this we use branded water filters. I particularly like the Maytag water filters, although there are others such as Samsung and Katadyn to name a couple which are similar. Using these we can filter out a large number of the chemical and particulates contains in the water and make it better for our overall general health. I think it’s worth doing. Do you?
